In addition to our events, we are also aiming to help people learn more about who else is working in this field. One way of doing that is by featuring brief interviews with key scholars and practitioners who work in this area. The aim is to give readers a sense of the variety of methods, approaches, interests and skills which abound in our community, as well as forging new links. If you would like to be featured, please get in touch with Mark Monaghan who is organising these interviews.

In this first interview, Mark  talks to Alex Stevens, Professor of Criminal Justice at the University of Kent, UK about all things evidence-based policy and how he envisages the future of the field and his experience of policy making from inside and outside central government.
